AURORAL

The Spaulding Wooden Boat Center is proud owner of the Auroral, a Spaulding 33 sloop. Designed by Myron Spaulding, the Spaulding 33 is a hard-chine sloop that looks like an oversized Clipper. Spaulding devised a method of using custom sheets of plywood to construct the 33’s, and many are in active use today. The Auroral is scheduled to be restored to like-new condition as part of the SWBC’s restoration program.
